Hi there! I love your site and the whole concept of an open drum and bugle corps. I also wanted to thank you for including Charlie “Tremendous” Jones’ quotes. He is my father and we are busy continuing his legacy of people and books.

My father loved the drum and bugle corps. We would go to competitions all the time and I was in our color guard throughout high school. I didn’t do the band because I played violin and cello, but I love the color guard. Seeing your site brought back great memories. I’m sure Dad would have loved to be a member. He was quite the trumpeter. It was really neat to see you included his quotes seeing how much he loved the corps.

Have a tremendous weekend!!
